snail trails

The snail prints found a home on some pins fashioned from resin coated dominoes. I think I will send one to a friend who studies mollusks.

I made some bottle cap and button pins too using more snail prints and some graphic paper from an earlier print series.

More domino recycle, and my favorite piece, the fruit bat necklace! Not my graphic image but a snippet from an piece of domo stationary I kept forever and finally cut up!

more lost and found: playground snails @" @"

I often find schoolyard flotsam and jetsam when walking the doggies past the local school playground. I found a pink eraser on out last walk, brought it home and carved a snail stamp.

I liked using the intact side to make a small color block to print the image over. Small art, big fun!

Found Art

My sister Nancy hooked me up with this super cool concept of found art!  Mine is really lost and found because it is made of lost things I found while walking the doggies; now those lost objects become something new for someone else to find. I hope it inspires you to give this concept a try. Be sure to visit this page and leave a comment if you find this recycled glove bunny! The packaging is also made of recycled materials including a re- purposed tyvek envelope with a milk cap button closure. Go to  http://foundartists.blogspot.com/   to learn more about this concept of creating and sharing art! Check out http://partymice.blogspot.com to see what cool stuff Nancy made for her found art!  Keeping checking back to learn if ........what was lost.... was found again!!!!waiting to be found..............
